Know Your Customer (KYC) — Public Compliance Statement
Seacrets maintains a comprehensive Know Your Customer (KYC) program to ensure platform integrity, satisfy regulatory compliance obligations, and meet payment institution and financial service provider requirements.
Mandatory Identification Principle
Access to monetization features, payment processing, and fund withdrawal mechanisms requires successful identity verification. No user may monetize content, access payment systems, or withdraw funds without completing KYC procedures.
Verification Elements
KYC verification includes:
- Official government-issued identification document verification
- Biometric validation and facial recognition matching
- Age confirmation to ensure creator eligibility
- Consistency verification between submitted documents and stated information
- Sanctions and Politically Exposed Person (PEP) screening
Risk-Based Approach
KYC procedures are calibrated according to risk factors including jurisdiction of residence, economic activity classification, transactional behavior changes, internal monitoring indicators, and EDD requirements.
Enhanced Due Diligence
For higher-risk accounts, Seacrets may require Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) including Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) confirmation, source of funds verification, submission of supplementary documentation, and periodic identity revalidation.
Continuous Monitoring
Seacrets conducts ongoing monitoring of verified accounts including periodic revalidation of identity information, collection of updated documentation, and temporary suspension of accounts pending document updates or clarification.
Restrictions and Corrective Measures
Where KYC verification cannot be completed or verification indicators are unsatisfactory, Seacrets may suspend account access, place holds on funds, impose permanent account cancellation, and cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory authorities.
Record Conservation
KYC records are preserved according to the Privacy Policy and applicable regulatory retention requirements.
