Moderation Guidelines

Version 1.0 · Effective date: October 15, 2025

Seacrets employs a sophisticated, multi-layered content moderation system to ensure the platform remains safe, compliant, and trustworthy. This document outlines our moderation architecture, policies, and procedures.

Moderation Architecture

Seacrets' moderation system consists of three integrated layers:

Layer 1: Automated Scanning

Advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning models automatically scan content at upload. This layer identifies potentially problematic content for human review and immediately blocks content matching known illegal material databases.

Layer 2: Human Review

Trained Trust & Safety specialists review flagged content, assess context, and make determinations about violations. Complex cases are escalated to senior specialists and legal advisors.

Layer 3: Immediate Action

Grave violations (child exploitation, terrorism, severe threats) trigger immediate removal and law enforcement reporting without awaiting secondary review.

Content Categories Reviewed

Seacrets reviews content for compliance with:

  • Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) violations
  • Prohibited content (illegal material, dangerous goods, fraud, etc.)
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery
  • Fraud, impersonation, and deceptive practices
  • Intellectual property infringement
  • Terms of Service violations

Moderation Actions

Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, Seacrets may take the following actions:

  • Warning — First-time or minor violations may result in an account warning and education
  • Content Removal — Violating content is removed from the platform
  • Account Restriction — Temporary restrictions on uploading, monetization, or other features
  • Account Suspension — Temporary deactivation of the account (typically 24 hours to 30 days)
  • Account Termination — Permanent removal of the account and all associated content
  • Law Enforcement Reporting — Evidence preservation and cooperation with authorities for serious crimes

Appeals Process

Users who believe their content was incorrectly removed or their account was incorrectly suspended may appeal. Appeals are reviewed by a different specialist and may be escalated to senior leadership.

Transparency and Consistency

Seacrets is committed to transparent, consistent moderation decisions. We:

  • Provide users with reasons for moderation actions
  • Maintain detailed records of moderation decisions
  • Regularly review policies to ensure fairness and consistency
  • Publicly report aggregate statistics about moderation activity
